We have all seen Link Romania in Rustington and many other towns and villages, and may also join in the Shoebox appeal each Christmas. In November 1990 I took part in one of the first ‘mercy missions ‘ to Romania driving in a convoy of 7 vehicles organised by our then vicar from a church in Ilford Essex.
