Rupert was the First Lieutenant in a merchant ship taken up from trade, SS ATLANTIC CONVEYOR. 

“We carried Harriers, helicopters and much else to the area.  We were hit with two Exocet missiles and eventually we had to abandon ship.  I went into the water and then into a life-raft.  This is my story of survival.  I try to interact with the audience by asking the “What would you have done” questions.  Each one is real (and literally life or death)
